First facial

For a teen's first time on the bed, with a parent or guardian in the room.

A gentle facial that Caitlin explains as she goes, and that ends with a routine on a card.

Results vary, and Caitlin doesn't promise one. If your teen would rather talk first, start with the 20-minute consultation.

What happens

  • A short talk, with you there, before anyone lies down

  • Cleansing, then a warm towel

  • A mask, chosen together

  • A short face massage

  • A routine on a card, in order

A facial bed made up with a linen throw, a plant in a basket and a shelf of folded towels by a tall window

Getting ready

Before, after, and when to ask first

  • Before

Caitlin tells you at booking what to skip, usually scrubs and strong exfoliating products. Come with skin as it is, and don't pick at it beforehand.

  • After

For the rest of the day, go gently: no scrubs, and sunscreen outside. The card Caitlin writes covers the days after.

  • Ask your doctor first

If your teen uses a prescription skin medicine or has a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask before you book.
